Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic vision frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives across Fortune 500 partners
- Produce annual Horizon 2026 trend report forecasting market disruptors
- Architect cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Establish KPIs for emerging technology adoption and ROI tracking
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurism conferences and policy summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of scaling exponential technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI governance, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurism journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term technology implementations
