Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, biotech fusion)
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions
- Conduct scenario planning for global tech adoption and regulatory shifts
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build cross-functional innovation ecosystems with academia and industry partners
- Author thought leadership on future tech paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products or services
- MBA or advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional analytical modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with global tech trend analysis and forecasting
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or futurism
