Responsibilities
- Architect and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 industry disruption
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation with business objectives
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget and vendor partnerships
- Mentor next-gen engineers and cultivate an experimental culture
- Present breakthrough concepts to investors and industry consortiums
- Ensure compliance with emerging tech governance frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech leadership with proven 5-year strategic planning success
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, bioinformatics, neuromorphic)
- PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent innovation portfolio
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Technology Review
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ professionals
- Strong track record of launching MVPs achieving $10M+ ARR
- Certification in Future Tech Forecasting (FTF) preferred
