- Lead cross-functional teams to develop proof-of-concepts for next-gen platforms including autonomous systems and biotech interfaces.
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and assess their strategic impact on business operations.
- Secure C-suite alignment and secure $5M+ annual innovation budget for experimental initiatives.
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation ROI and track adoption of emerging technologies.
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to accelerate breakthrough development.
- Present quarterly innovation progress to the board with data-driven recommendations for portfolio adjustments.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred.
- 12+ years experience in technology leadership with proven success in scaling innovative platforms.
- Expertise in emerging technologies including generative AI, quantum computing, and Web3 infrastructure.
- Track record of securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and managing P&L for R&D initiatives.
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to C-suite.
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or major industry conferences.
- Experience building and leading high-performing cross-functional innovation teams in fast-paced environments.
