Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps spanning 2024-2026 with measurable KPIs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping future-facing solutions
- Author quarterly future-state briefings for executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technology adoption and deployment
- Partner with R&D to validate feasibility of next-generation concepts
- Represent company at global technology foresight conferences and symposiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, biotech, etc.)
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technology trends (patents, whitepapers, etc.)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
