Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market predictions and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum AI, biotech interfaces, and climate-positive technologies
- Establish patent portfolios for proprietary 2026-era innovations
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor emerging technologists through Horizon's Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough innovations)
- 5+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on 2020-2025 tech adoption curves
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies with >500 citations
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic engineering
- Track record of launching technologies with >$100M market impact
- Security clearance for classified future-tech initiatives (or ability to obtain)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages and 3D modeling frameworks
