Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps identifying disruptive innovations and market inflection points
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen systems (quantum-AI hybrids, neural interfaces, autonomous ecosystems)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and national labs for cutting-edge research
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite executives and board members for multi-billion-dollar investment decisions
- Author thought leadership publications on the societal and economic impacts of emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning across 15+ emerging tech domains to identify high-impact opportunities
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine symbiosis by 2026
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven track record of launching at least two paradigm-shifting products/services with $500M+ market impact
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AGI development, or synthetic biology convergence
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, technology forecasting)
- Published thought leadership in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent tier-1 publications
- Proficiency in modeling complex systems using agent-based simulations and predictive analytics
- Demonstrated ability to secure $10M+ in R&D funding for moonshot projects
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain for government collaboration projects
