What you'll achieve: Define our 5-year technology vision, lead R&D for disruptive innovations, and establish thought leadership in emerging domains including quantum computing, neurotech, and sustainable AI.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech interfaces, decentralized systems)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-focused innovations into core offerings
- Present strategic technology forecasts to investors and board members
- Build and manage an innovation incubator for experimental projects
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Create intellectual property through patents and white papers
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurist or R&D leadership roles
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published author in technology foresight publications
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
