Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biocomputing, etc.)
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future tech into enterprise strategy
- Present foresight frameworks to executive boards and venture capital partners
- Establish innovation KPIs and track technology adoption curves
- Coordinate with academic institutions on cutting-edge research initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic AI
- Executive experience in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech startup environments
- Published research in technology forecasting or innovation management
- Strong network with VCs, academic research institutions, and industry consortia
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
