Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, bio-integrated systems) to identify 2026 market opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across enterprise clients
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite executives and investors
- Manage a portfolio of experimental technology projects with $5M+ budgets
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and engineers
- Author thought leadership papers on technology's societal impact by 2026
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech R&D
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Futurism, or related field
- Proven track record predicting tech trends (evidence of prior 2020-2025 predictions)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary innovation teams
- Published author in technology forecasting or futurism
- Strong network of tech industry pioneers and researchers
- Proficiency in strategic modeling and scenario planning tools
