Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models for technological adoption trends through 2030
- Lead ideation sessions for next-gen products using design thinking methodologies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D laboratories
- Create patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations in AI and biotech convergence
- Present strategic foresight reports to board members and investors quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technologies and scenario planning
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and their market implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on future tech trends
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method)
- Strong network connections with global tech innovators
- PhD in Technology Forecasting or related field preferred
