Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends to develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for 2026 digital ecosystems
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive market forces and regulatory shifts
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology investments with 2026 business objectives
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future tech implications for industry transformation
- Establish KPIs for tracking technology adoption readiness and future-proofing initiatives
- Mentor innovation teams in human-centered design for next-gen digital experiences
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for future tech incubation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or strategic technology transformations
