Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ horizon, identifying emerging trends and disruptive innovations
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives including scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology investments with long-term business objectives
- Drive innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies including AI governance and quantum security
- Represent company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership on future tech
- Mentor talent in futurist methodologies and strategic innovation practices
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products or services
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- PhD or Master's in Technology, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (required)
