Responsibilities
- Architect and implement long-term technology strategies for 2026+ product ecosystems
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, decentralized networks)
- Develop predictive models for market disruption and technology adoption curves
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Create executive technology briefings and future scenario planning documents
- Establish strategic partnerships with research labs and technology pioneers
- Mentor junior futurists and build a culture of continuous innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership role
- Proven experience with emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Track record of launching future-focused products (2018-2023)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong stakeholder management at executive level
- Published research or patents in forward-thinking tech domains
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
