Responsibilities
- Develop predictive technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, identifying disruptive convergence points in AI, biotech, and immersive computing
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and VPs to align product strategy with future market demands
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Report' analyzing geopolitical, ethical, and economic impacts of emerging tech
- Partner with venture capital arm to evaluate and invest in seed-stage startups defining 2026's tech landscape
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for quantum-resistant security and AGI governance protocols
- Present findings to C-suite executives and board members using data visualization and interactive demos
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or emerging tech research with Fortune 500 or VC-backed startups
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends (demonstrated by publications, patents, or keynote presentations)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, Web3 infrastructure, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio showcasing 2020-2025 trend predictions with 85%+ accuracy rate
- Experience leading $1M+ R&D initiatives with measurable commercial outcomes
