- Architect the 2026 technology roadmap, integrating quantum computing, AI ethics frameworks, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to develop next-gen prototypes with 18-month market deployment
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on future tech opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge research
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough innovations in autonomous systems and human-machine interfaces
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies for complex technical projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech roles
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining tech products
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or AI governance
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience scaling technology teams from 10 to 100+ engineers
- Certified in Technology Foresight (TF) and Agile Innovation Management
- Demonstrated ability to secure $50M+ in R&D funding
