Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging market trends and scientific breakthroughs
- Lead moonshot projects in quantum-resistant cryptography and neural interface design
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research labs on next-gen computing frameworks
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite and board of directors
- Build and mentor a specialized team of futurists and technology architects
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental initiatives
- Establish industry partnerships with NASA, IBM Research, and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Published research in Nature or Science on future technology applications
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, and synthetic biology
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ patented breakthrough technologies
- Experience with foresight methodologies like Delphi analysis and horizon scanning
