Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence systems
- Prototype next-gen human-computer interfaces using AR/VR/XR
- Collaborate with policy teams on ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering teams
- Author white papers on 2026 technology adoption curves
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrant contributor)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi method)
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Portfolio of 3+ technology commercialization successes
