Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech paradigms (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and research teams
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive stakeholders
- Drive patent development and IP strategy in exponential technology domains
- Establish industry partnerships with leading research labs and venture capital firms
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation incubator program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- 5+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership at FAANG-scale organizations
- Published research in exponential technologies (neurotech, fusion energy, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network with academic institutions and tech innovation hubs
