- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging tech deployment across global markets
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers and keynote presentations
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping and future-proof architecture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurist/innovation roles
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: AGI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of transforming futuristic concepts into commercialized products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex tech ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight (IEEE, MIT Tech Review, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from University of Houston Futures program)
