Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR) into corporate strategy
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech roles
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or biotechnology
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products or services
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Strong public speaking and executive communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating technology trend analysis and strategic implementation
