Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 2026+ potential
- Develop and maintain technology foresight frameworks for strategic planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to generate future-state scenarios
- Present technology trend analyses to executive leadership and investors
- Manage R&D pipeline for breakthrough technologies with commercial viability
- Establish KPIs for measuring innovation impact and adoption readiness
- Represent company at global tech forums and future-focused summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven experience developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., APF)
