Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author trend reports and strategic briefs for executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage an ecosystem of academic, startup, and industry futurist partnerships
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable product development frameworks
- Represent company at global tech foresight forums and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused strategy implementations
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
