Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and scenario planning for 2026-2030 digital landscapes
- Architect strategic roadmaps integrating quantum, AI, and biotech convergence
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech startups for acquisition/partnership
- Present futuristic vision to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Build and lead a cross-disciplinary innovation task force
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and future-focused think tanks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism/forecasting
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field required
- Published author in technology forecasting or peer-reviewed journals
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in quantum computing, AGI safety, or climate tech
- Experience presenting to Fortune 500 executive teams
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or international tech councils
