- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, ambient AI) and forecast market impacts through 2026+
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with company vision and industry disruption timelines
- Lead innovation workshops with R&D teams to prototype next-gen digital experiences
- Present future-vision briefings to stakeholders and investors using data-driven trend analysis
- Partner with product teams to integrate emerging capabilities into commercial roadmaps
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and ethical implications for future technology adoption
- Build and mentor a specialized foresight team focused on long-term technological horizons
Qualifications
- 12+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in forecasting tech trends with 85%+ accuracy in past predictions
- Deep knowledge of at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Executive-level communication skills for translating complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through multi-year transformation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Futures Studies, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization from concept to market
