Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) and forecast market readiness by 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future-tech insights into product development
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on tech evolution impacts
- Advise C-suite on technology investments and risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor global tech policy developments and regulatory landscapes
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in technology forecasting and strategic planning
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking abilities
- Experience presenting complex concepts to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech or innovation publications
- Fluency in future-mapping methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, horizon scanning)
