Responsibilities
- Forecast and map technological trends through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Collaborate with C-suite to align future-tech initiatives with business objectives
- Author thought leadership publications on next-generation tech paradigms
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present futuristic concepts to investors and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- 5+ years in technology R&D or strategic innovation roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, nanotech)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into viable products
- Strong systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning frameworks (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional communication for complex technical storytelling
