Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast technology trends through 2030, focusing on quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-tech convergence
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present trend analysis and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for early trend identification
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
- Mentor junior futurists and build our future-tech competency framework
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting tech adoption with documented impact
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or major industry platforms
- Experience presenting to C-suite audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech innovation implementations
