Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech) and their commercial viability by 2026
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping sessions with engineering and product teams
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future tech into corporate strategy and investment portfolios
- Deliver executive briefings on technological disruption vectors and competitive positioning
- Author forward-looking white papers and thought leadership for industry summits
- Build external ecosystem with research institutions, startups, and policy think tanks
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, biotech convergence, climate tech, or quantum applications
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite boards and external stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in tech or business journals
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Forecasting preferred
