As a key member of our Future Horizons division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to build technology roadmaps that anticipate market shifts, regulatory changes, and breakthrough innovations. You'll translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies while fostering a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking.
Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology foresight frameworks aligned with 2026 industry benchmarks
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, decentralized systems) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify future-proof innovation opportunities
- Produce scenario analyses for regulatory/policy shifts affecting tech deployment
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness across engineering, product, and operations teams
- Represent the company at global tech foresight forums and academic symposiums
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, proprietary forecasting models)
- Experience building technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 enterprises
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Demonstrated success in translating foresight into commercial strategy
