Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Identify and validate emerging technologies with $100M+ market potential
- Present strategic technology forecasts to executive board and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Drive patent portfolio development for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor next-generation technologists through our Horizon Fellows program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record launching at least two market-defining tech products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends: generative AI, Web3, or synthetic biology
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar foresight methodology training
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
