Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ market shifts
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Prototype next-gen systems in our Innovation Labs (AR/VR, neuromorphic chips)
- Present foresight reports to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Mentor cross-functional teams in emerging technology adoption
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants for frontier technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or R&D leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in IEEE Nature or top-tier tech journals
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains: quantum, AI, biotech, or space tech
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to market
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
- Speaker at TED, Web Summit, or equivalent global tech forums
