Responsibilities
- Design and implement long-term technology roadmaps for 2026+ digital transformation initiatives
- Lead R&D in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized AI systems
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technological innovation with business strategy
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies including AGI and biotech integration
- Drive patent development and open-source contributions in frontier tech domains
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proof development methodologies
- Represent NextGen at global tech summits and policy discussions on 2026 tech landscapes
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Emerging Tech
- 10+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in future-tech R&D
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent in quantum/AI/ethics
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of scaling technology from concept to production
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of advanced AI and biotech
- Experience securing $50M+ in technology innovation grants or funding
