Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies applicable to 2026 market landscapes
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives focusing on quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends and opportunities
- Design prototype systems for next-generation human-machine interfaces
- Present futuristic vision to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Produce annual technology forecasts with actionable implementation plans
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with demonstrated impact on future-oriented projects
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech, quantum)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research or thought leadership on 2020s technology trends
- Experience scaling innovative solutions from concept to commercialization
- Proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact assessment
- Track record of securing R&D funding for futuristic initiatives
