Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Design blueprints for next-gen AI-human interfaces and quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-ready tech into enterprise roadmaps
- Present tech forecasts at global summits (Web Summit, CES, Davos) and publish thought leadership
- Prototype Minimum Viable Futures (MVF) using our 3D simulation lab and quantum testbed
- Mentor cross-functional teams in exponential thinking and tech ethics
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in emerging tech (AI/quantum/biotech) with 5+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record of launching future-defining products (e.g., GPT-3, quantum sensors)
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent breakthrough research
- Expertise in exponential tech forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Published author in MIT Technology Review or equivalent tier
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming (Qiskit)
- Portfolio of 3+ patented innovations with >$100M commercial impact
