Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify and validate disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology)
- Develop patent portfolios and innovation frameworks for next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future-proof strategies into product development lifecycles
- Establish global innovation ecosystems through strategic academic and industry alliances
- Present visionary blueprints to investors and board members with compelling ROI projections
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation specialists in emerging technology domains
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent expertise in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology with 10+ years of applied innovation experience
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies with $50M+ impact
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, spatial computing, or neurotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technological ecosystems
- Published thought leader with keynote experience at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technologies successfully brought from concept to market
