Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ tech trends including quantum supremacy, neural interfaces, and synthetic biology
- Develop client-specific future technology roadmaps with 5-10 year implementation strategies
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technology adoption across healthcare, finance, and manufacturing sectors
- Present executive briefings to C-suite stakeholders on emerging tech opportunities and risks
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-generation digital solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-machine symbiosis
- Advocate for ethical AI governance frameworks in global tech policy discussions
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic technology planning or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven experience developing long-term technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with complex technical concepts
- Published research on emerging technology societal impact
- Proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and executive teams
