Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough systems with 2026+ applications
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Design human-centric AI frameworks for next-generation industrial automation
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Establish innovation partnerships with leading research institutions
- Document technological forecasts through whitepapers and industry publications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or nanotechnology
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (IEEE Nature Science)
- Experience securing $5M+ in research grants or venture funding
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
