Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead research initiatives in quantum-AI hybrid systems and neural interface applications
- Collaborate with product teams to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on emerging tech risks/opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Author thought leadership publications on the 2026 digital ecosystem
- Mentor innovation fellows in speculative design methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurist/innovation roles
- Published research in IEEE or ACM journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ years market lead time
- Expertise in at least three of these domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR, AGI safety
- Deep familiarity with Singularity University or similar futurist frameworks
- Experience securing federal/state grants for experimental R&D projects
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating speculative technology concepts implemented at scale
