Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, climate tech) to develop 2026 strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing innovation sprints focused on 5-year horizon opportunities
- Develop and maintain a dynamic strategic roadmap with KPIs tracking progress toward 2026 milestones
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic solutions addressing emerging market needs
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and secure executive buy-in for long-term initiatives
- Monitor competitor and disruptor activities to identify strategic pivots and market protection strategies
- Champion a culture of innovation through workshops, thought leadership content, and mentorship
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategy, Technology, or Futures Studies; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex futuristic concepts
