Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Create a comprehensive strategic plan outlining key technological milestones, infrastructure upgrades, and innovation targets for the 2026 fiscal year.
- Future-Proof Infrastructure: Architect scalable cloud and on-premise solutions that can seamlessly integrate emerging technologies like AI, Quantum computing, and Edge computing.
- Innovation Leadership: Lead the research and evaluation of disruptive technologies, identifying opportunities to gain a competitive advantage through early adoption.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and business units to translate 2026 business goals into technical realities.
- Strategic Vendor Management: Identify, vet, and manage partnerships with key technology providers to ensure access to cutting-edge solutions.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop strategies to mitigate technological risks and ensure business continuity in a dynamic market.
- Team Mentorship: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the technology department.
Qualifications
- Strategic Vision: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, with at least 3 years in a leadership role directing long-term technical roadmaps.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), AI/ML integration, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Future-Oriented Mindset: Proven ability to forecast industry trends and translate them into actionable business strategies.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Project Management: PMP or similar certification, with a track record of successfully delivering complex, multi-year projects.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and solve high-level architectural challenges.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
