Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for 2026 technology adoption across AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to prototype future-facing solutions
- Identify emerging market trends and competitive threats through global research partnerships
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budget and manage resource allocation for high-impact projects
- Present strategic vision to stakeholders and investors through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term innovation impact and market readiness
- Foster ecosystem partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation leadership with proven track record of scaling futuristic initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, generative AI, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level experience with $10M+ budgets and cross-organizational change management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technologies (2018-2023)
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks and horizon scanning methodologies
- Experience scaling teams from 5 to 50+ members while maintaining innovation velocity
- Global network of industry contacts and venture capital relationships
