This senior role demands a blend of technical foresight, strategic acumen, and executive leadership to navigate the rapidly evolving technological frontier.
As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll spearhead cross-functional teams to develop and execute long-term technology strategies while identifying emerging opportunities in quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, and human-machine augmentation. You'll collaborate directly with C-suite executives to align innovation with business objectives and market disruption.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps with 5-year strategic vision
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging domains (quantum, bio-integrated systems, neural interfaces)
- Establish innovation governance frameworks for ethical tech deployment
- Manage $15M+ annual innovation portfolio with ROI tracking
- Build and lead cross-disciplinary innovation labs in SF and global hubs
- Present strategic briefings to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Monitor geopolitical tech trends and regulatory shifts impacting 2026 landscape
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level strategy
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Experience managing global innovation teams across 3+ continents
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Strong network within DARPA, IEEE, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
