- Secure $5M+ in innovation funding through grant writing and investor relations
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior innovators in future-focused methodologies
- Monitor global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Expertise in futures forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Strong background in securing federal grants and venture capital for R&D
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
