Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Lead scenario planning and trend analysis to identify emerging market opportunities and threats
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-focused innovations into core offerings
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage a high-performing futurist research team
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers and keynote presentations
- Drive organizational change management for future-proofing operations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused initiatives in Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Management, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Experience managing cross-functional teams of 10+ professionals
- Prior success in securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
