Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary research initiatives identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ horizons
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic foresight framework with quarterly horizon scans
- Facilitate C-level workshops to translate foresight insights into executable innovation portfolios
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global think tanks
- Author visionary white papers and thought leadership documents on future scenarios
- Oversee the implementation of pilot programs for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, R&D, or innovation leadership within tech/life sciences
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Published thought leadership on future trends or innovation strategy
