Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) and their commercial viability by 2026
- Develop predictive models for market disruptions in renewable energy, smart cities, and digital healthcare
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategies with future workforce evolution
- Produce quarterly foresight reports with actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Identify and prioritize ethical implications of exponential technologies on global supply chains
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government labs to pioneer 2026 innovation roadmaps
- Mentor junior futurists and champion future literacy across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or corporate innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI governance, circular economy models, neurotech, or climate resilience
- Certification in Futures Methodologies (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-shaping initiatives
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
