Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, economic, and societal trends to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into R&D priorities
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces on emerging technology governance frameworks
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen solutions (e.g., neural interfaces, climate AI)
- Establish industry-wide consortiums for responsible innovation in post-2026 ecosystems
- Advocate for ethical foresight practices in public policy and corporate governance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research or industry frameworks
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible impact from future-oriented initiatives
- Global network with futurists, technologists, and policy influencers
