As a key member of our Innovation Lab, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities while mitigating future risks. Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and emerging human-computer interfaces
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic foresight frameworks with quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Produce executive-ready scenario-planning documents and innovation roadmaps
- Facilitate workshops with C-suite executives on future technology implications
- Build and manage a network of external futurists, academic researchers, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight insights into product development priorities and go-to-market strategies
- Author thought leadership content positioning Nexus Horizons as a 2026 innovation pioneer
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record developing future scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics frameworks, neurotechnology convergence, or climate-tech disruption
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field preferred
- Published work in futurist journals or major tech publications
- Experience with scenario planning software (e.g., Cognito, Decision Explorer)
