Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends across technology, geopolitics, and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for enterprise resilience and market positioning
- Collaborate with C-suite to translate foresight into strategic roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Present trend analyses to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visual storytelling
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Author white papers and thought leadership content positioning Nexus as a future-shaping authority
- Quantify future opportunities through predictive modeling and risk-assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in foresight or strategic innovation domains
- Experience advising executive leadership on future-proofing strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS) strongly preferred
